For patients of Dr. Mellott, no action is necessary on your part. Your records are safely and privately stored with us, and we will continue to honor all hearing aid service agreements that you had with Dr. Mellott.

Our private practice works with all the same hearing aid manufacturers as Dr. Mellott, and we do all the same testing she did, plus more! Not only that but as a previous patient of Dr. Mellott, you have access to all of our locations throughout Maryland and all the resources of a larger private practice.

We plan to stay to move out of the Upper Marlboro office by the end of Febraury 2021 and will be asking Dr. Mellott's patients to visit one of our well-established offices in Waldorf, Annapolis or Chevy Chase locations.

For patients of Dr. Baumgartner, we will continue to serve in his office at Holy Cross hospital until he retires. We also have a full-time, full-service location a few miles away from the Holy Cross location in Rockville, that we will continue to see patients in.

Keeping You Safe

Our number one priority is ensuring the health and safety of our patients and employees. That's why we've implemented upgraded protocols and procedures for enhanced patient and staff safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to exceeding state and federal safety guidelines, we have implemented the following policies to keep you and your loved ones safe and healthy when you visit our facilities. We are:

  • Requiring masks for all patients and staff.

  • Running HEPA air cleaners (down to 0.1 micron) in every patient room all day long.

  • Sanitizing all high-touch surfaces after every patient.

  • Requiring temperature checks at the door or your car upon your arrival (call us, and we can come out to you).

  • Screening questions before your appointment.

  • Scheduling all appointments in a way to reduce contact with other patients.

  • Offering curbside service if you need to drop off a hearing aid for repair, cleaning, or other regular maintenance.

  • Providing remote in-home hearing aid programming. If you’re unsure if your hearing instruments can be adjusted remotely, call us, and we’ll let you know.

  • Offering to mail batteries and other accessories that you may need for your hearing aids upon request.
